Pickens County Habitat for Humanity Builds another home

Family, friends, and Habitat volunteers gathered on Sunday , August 1, for the dedication of Habitat for Humanity’s newest home in Pickens County. Ron Ceravolo, president of Habitat for Humanity in Pickens presided over the ceremony.

The new owners, T. J. and Natasha Flowers and their children were all smiles as Dee Greenwell, chair of Habitat’s Construction Committee, handed over the keys to the house to the happy family. Dee commented on what wonderful, cooperative and energetic people the family was during the construction of the house.

The home was built by Habitat volunteers from Pickens County and Big Canoe.
