Big Canoe Employee Lost Home in Storm


Sarah Burnett, a Big Canoe food and beverage employee,  and her family lost their home and all of their belongings in the Pickens County  storms this week.  Sarah, her husband and their three children need household goods ,clothing and toys but monetary donations are welcome as well.


Clothing sizes are as follows:

Son-Jake, age four ….. Boys size 5-6, shoe size 12 ½

Daughter-Summer, age nine…….Girls size 10-12, shoe size 7 ½ women’s

Daughter Morgan, age eleven…..Women size 4 to 5, shoe size 7 ½ women’s

Sarah……Junior size 11 Pants, Med-Large women Shirts, shoe size 8

Jeremy….Men size 40 Pants, XL Shirt, shoe size 13

If you wish to help Sarah and her family with any donations of food, clothing, toys, etc., please bring items to  the Canoe Lodge, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.  If you would like to donate money, please make your checks payable to Sarah Burnett and bring to  the Canoe Lodge as well. Big Canoe residents have always been generous helping those in need and Sarah along with  many in Pickens County need that help now.
